Qualified at King’s College London, BSc 1989, MBBS 1992 Trained in London and Reading as a junior, then moved to the Wessex Rotation for oncology training Appointed as a consultant in April 2001 Qualifications – BSc 1989; MBBS 1992; MRCP 1995; FRCR 1998; FRCP 2009; CCST 2001 I take part in national clinical trials, including the SCOT trial, COIN trial, Pathos (in process of being set up) and other trials in the past such as QUASAR and ACT II. Other clinical involvement: (eg departmental/ research/audit lead etc etc): Adelaide Ward lead; Foundation Programme Training Director; Enhanced Appraiser; Chair of RBH Consultant’s Committee. Previously Chair of the Thames Valley Head and Neck TSSG 2008 – 12. Interests in Colorectal, Head and Neck and Skin cancer. Set up the skin cancer MDT in RBH with plastic surgeons and dermatologists in 2003. Am an integral member of Oxford / Reading Head and Neck cancer MDT and Reading Colorectal MDT. Have introduced H&N and Anal IMRT to all Reading patients.
