Dr. Alhaitham Mahdi is a double board-certified cardiac surgeon at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of all major cardiac conditions in adult patients and is confident in performing adult cardiac surgeries. Prior to joining Mediclinic he worked as a consultant cardiac surgeon in a leading medical institute in Syria. Dr. Mahdi has authored a number of medical papers and reported several interesting cases in prestigious medical journals. Among other affiliations he is a member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (EACTS).
