Description

A Georgia native and long time Alpharetta resident. Dr. Alex Paulk brings a new and innovative approach to healthcare. One where the patient comes first and where treatments are what’s best for the patient, not what’s convenient for the Doctor. For too long Doctors have looked to patients as just numbers or diseases. Dr. Paulk takes a special interest in each patient. As the meaning of Doctor is “teacher”, Dr. Paulk takes this to heart and guides his patients to a healthier life one that is complete with true wellness and the elimination of pain. Dr. Paulk was born and raised in College Park, GA. His undergraduate studies were done at Southern Polytechnic State University located in Marietta, GA where he majored in Construction Management with a focus in Land Development. In 2012 after a long career in the construction industry, he decided to pursue his life-long passion in healthcare and began working towards his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University. During his time at Life University Dr. Paulk was a member of the Sports Chiropractic Council, studying various analyses of athletes and the connection between the nervous system and athletic performance. His education has included extensive classes in human anatomy, biochemistry, pathology, nutrition, physiology, biomechanics, neurology and numerous adjustment techniques. Dr. Paulk also did extensive research in Biomechanics of the spine and loads applied to the spine throughout all phases of the golf swing. In his free time when Dr. Paulk is not spending time with the love of his life Melissa or playing with their two children Izabella and Ethan, you can find him on the golf course or on the lake fishing.
