Alexander J. Ghanayem, MD, FAAOS, is a spine specialist at Loyola Medicine. His clinical interests include cervical lumbar disc disorder, spinal stenosis and neck problems. Dr. Ghanayem is a professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Ghanayem earned his medical degree at Northwestern University. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland and a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery and spine surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Ghanayem is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Association.
