I’m a Medical Doctor, board certification in Psychiatry , PhD in "Research and advanced methodologies in psychotherapy”, Postgraduate Master in Epidemiology. I’ve got a wide clinical and research experience. As a researcher, I’m used to literature data searching and analyzing in order to write scientific papers, to produce systematic reviews and meta-analyses. I have been working for four years in the section of Clinical and molecular Epidemiology- Area of Systems Approaches and Non Communicable Diseases of a research institution in Rome, Italy. Research interests: non-communicable diseases, outcome measures, patient reported outcomes, depression and anxiety, schizophrenia, autism, Alzheimer’s Disease, alcoholism, headache, oxidative stress, multi-morbidity, genetic epidemiology, health services evaluation. I have gained good experience of literature search and publishing as a researcher in medical field in the academia, and reading and writing papers are my best skills. I am co-author of 65 publications. As a clinician, I worked for four years in a University Hospital during my training in Psychiatry. Moreover, since 2006 I’ve been working as a psychiatrist in several psychiatric medical centres in Rome. Due to my background, I’m able to critically evaluate literature data in order to translate them into clinical decisions. I’m able to use the following statistical software: SPSS and STATA. I’ve got good management skills and I’m able to work both independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. I’m familiar with giving oral presentations and I’ve got experience as a teacher, as from 2002 to 2009 I taught to postgraduate students, and since 2004 I have been teaching to undergraduate students.
