I was raised in Yorubaland, W-Africa where, with the help of my Origin Soil, i was inspired to being a physician. 6 years after being a hospitalist, i thought it best to transition into Primary Care given the huge need in the (underserved) community, as evidenced in the Hospital admissions of "poorly managed" chronic illnesses. Of concerning note, Primary Care Practices, which is a Community Service, is losing its most needed resources that include sound Communal ideologies, and cohesiveness. In addition to following the guidelines of the American Medical Association in treating illness, We believe it crucial to educate Patients on having alternative, and/or complementary outlooks towards their Health. Our alternate practice stems from an IFA Philosophy used by The Yoruba people. It addresses all 3hree aspects of the Human Life - Physical, Economical, Spiritual (NeuroPsychology), suggesting ways to live a more fulfilling life'. More importantly, We suggest the involvement of the immediate community on Our Patients' Life, following the adage, "Healthy communities foster healthier Residents". In light of being Internal Medicine Board certified, we as well specialize in Hepatology, and Obesity Medicine.
