Dr. Afra completed his MBBCH from Tanta University in Egypt in 2004 followed by a training residency programme in both Tanta Ophthalmology Hospital and the Research Institute of Ophthalmology in Giza for six years. He completed his Master’s degree in Ophthalmology in 2010 from Benha University in Egypt.IHe moved to the UAE as a Specialist Ophthalmologist in 2014.He completed the Diploma of Membership in Ophthalmology MRCS (Opth) from Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, Scotland in 2021
