About Dr. Adriana Garcia AybarDr. Garcia is a board certified optometrist with a focus in contact lenses, dry eyes, myopia and medical care of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in biological sciences from Florida Atlantic University. She later on received her optometric and vision science degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Dr. Garcia trained at West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center and South Florida Laser Eye Center in Plantation, Florida. While at NSU, Dr. Garcia was the president of the organization Students Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Florida Optometric Association and her local society. She enjoys participating in medical mission trips that provide eye care to underserved communities abroad, traveling around the world and spending time with her family.show more
