My pharmacist journey began as a community pharmacist for Well Pharmacy as a relief pharmacist. I worked closely with the local communities to provide appropriate minor ailment advice where possible and reduce health inequalities. Since then, I have expanded to a more clinical role within primary care. This started with a PCN role within Burnley which was heavily focused on carrying out detailed Structured Medication Reviews which requires complex patients to be reviewed in a detailed and holistic manner. I am now a GP Practice Clinical Pharmacist, I have several responsibilities within the practice which involve overseeing high risk drug monitoring, patient safety alongside my day to day role. I am looking to expand my portfolio in other avenues and currently studying at the University Of Bolton to become a non-medical prescriber.
