Dr. Schroit completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She then proceeded with a research opportunity at Stanford University before attending Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where she received her D.P.M. She completed a three year residency program in her hometown Houston at Kingwood Medical Center. Her professional interests include common foot problems such as bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, ingrown toenails, and trauma. She is also interested in treating sports injuries. Dr. Schroit is on staff at Memorial Hermann Memorial City, Methodist West, West Houston Medical Center, Kingwood Medical Center, First Street Surgery Center, and West Houston Surgicare. She is on all major insurance plans. These include: Aetna, United Health Care, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna and Medicare. Please look in the insurance section for the full list. Dr. Schroit enjoys spending time with her family and soon to-be husband here in Houston. She has a huge heart for animals and has two loving dogs of her own which she enjoys spending time with. Dr. Schroit also enjoys the outdoors, traveling and has a strong passion for health and fitness.
