Adela T. Casas-Melley, MD, holds the esteemed position of Chief of Pediatric Surgery at Nemours Childrens Hospital. In addition to this role, Dr. Casas-Melley serves as the Program Director for General Surgery Residency at UCF and the Core Facility for General Surgery Residency at HCA in Longwood. Furthermore, she is a Professor of Surgery of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida, where she educates medical students. With her extensive medical expertise, Dr. Casas-Melley is proficient in various areas, including the treatment of abdominal masses, performing anti-reflux surgery, managing breast disorders, providing burn care, addressing chest wall disorders, treating gall bladder disease, managing hernias and hydroceles, and offering wound care.
