Personal profile Mr Adebanji B Adeyoju is Consultant Urological Surgeon with a special interest and expertise in Endo-urology including Laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery for urinary stones and benign prostatic enlargement. Adebanji graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in 1988. He undertook his basic and middle grade surgical training in Dublin, Ireland before moving to the north-west of England in 1997 for higher surgical training which was completed in 2002. He was appointed as Consultant Urological Surgeon at Stepping Hill Hospital NHS Foundation trust in the same year. Adebanji is a full member of the British association of Urological Surgeons as well as the European association of Urology. He plays an active role locally, regionally and nationally in the teaching and training of both undergraduate and post-graduate medical students and surgeons. Adebanji is a pioneering Uk Urologist and over his career has been actively involved in being an early adopter of new techniques of benefit to Urology patients in his chosen sub-specialities of Minimally-invasive therapy for Urinary tract stones, laparoscopic (minimally-invasive) therapies for Kidney and adrenal conditions and symptomatic benign prostate enlargement
