Dr Abha Gulati studied medicine at University College London where she was also awarded a first class honours degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. She started her speciality training in dermatology in 2003 and it involved training at several London teaching hospitals, such as Barts Health, Hammersmith & Ealing, Chelsea & Westminster and University College Hospitals. During this training, she completed a PhD study at Queen Mary University of London concerning he early changes in skin cancer development and impact of common treatments. Additionally, she was also a Academic Clinical Lecturer at this university, being involved in improving education and early recognition of skin cancers. Currently, Abha is the lead clinician for skin cancer services and dermatology teaching lead at Homerton University Hospital. Her vast experience of over 10 years covers all aspects of general dermatology in adults and children, including all aspects of skin disease including acne, skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis and allergy. She is an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists Skin Cancer Prevention Committee and British Society for Skin Care of Immunocompromised Individuals (BSSCII). She is also a MRCP examiner.
