Note that we do not provide prescription for glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Abed Namavari, is an eye physician and surgeon, i.e. ophthalmologist, and a retina specialist. His training includes: - Medical Degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, 2005 - Biomedical Research Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, IL, 2012 - Ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, 2016 - Medical Retina Fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, 2017 Dr Namavari has held license to practice as an ophthalmologist in California, Florida, Wyoming, and Colorado. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals (see below). Dr Namavari is fluent in English and Farsi. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and their dog, swimming, and snowboarding.
