Mr Aakshay Gulati is an experienced Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, holding dual qualifications in dentistry and medicine. He currently sees patients at Southfields Dental Centre, KIMS Hopsital, The McIndoe Centre and Queen Victoria Hospital.Mr Gulati completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 1996, followed by five years of impactful work in oral surgery across various London hospitals. In 2001, he became a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDSRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Mr Gulati completed his medical degree at Kings College London in 2006, followed by his general surgical training, becoming a Member of Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He later completed his specialist training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, based on the south coast of England and became a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2014.Mr Gulati pursued a head and neck and microvascular reconstruction fellowship in Munich in 2012. He was later elected for national interface head and neck fellowships and advanced training in implantology.Mr Gulatis surgical focus includes head and neck oncology, microvascular reconstruction, salivary gland surgery, surgical dermatology, complex oral surgery, and implantology. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as the clinical tutor for oral and maxillofacial surgery in East Grinstead. He regularly delivers lectures in oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology and has been invited as a guest lecturer and keynote speaker on head and neck reconstruction at international scientific meetings.
