Andrea Gossard, APRN, CNP, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a Director of NP PA Practice at Mayo Clinic. She is actively engaged in leadership of Advanced Practice Providers and is the Chair of the Executive Team for the Mayo Clinic NP PA Office in Rochester, MN. Her clinical and research interests are focused on the diagnosis and management of cholestatic and autoimmune liver diseases including Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, Primary Biliary Cholangitis, and Autoimmune Hepatitis. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts in addition to 5 book chapters. Ms. Gossard is an Associate Fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) and the Chair of the Hepatology Associates Special Interest Group. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Ms. Gossard was one of the founding members of GHAPP, Gastroenterology and Hepatology for Advanced Practice Providers. GHAPP is an association created by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), led by APPs and committed to education and professional development of APPs. She remains a member of the GHAPP Board of Trustees.
