As women, we wear multiple hats and seek to fill multiple roles. In addition to external pressures, completing day to day tasks can be overwhelming and anxiety provoking. Additionally, in meeting the needs of others, we can tend to ignore our own needs. As a therapist, my desire is to give each woman a space in which she is seen, heard, and validated. I seek to work with women who have unresolved trauma, perinatal moods, postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues among other women's issues.I operate from a person-centered and multicultural lens that seeks to understand and highlight all of the intersectionalities that make you, you. I enjoy using mindfulness and psychoeducation techniques that assist in enhancing your awareness to know the why behind your actions and be able to make changes and learn to self-regulate in conflicts.I believe that healing happens in relationships and through corrective experiences. My desire in the therapeutic relationship is to ensure that each client knows they are seen, heard, understood, and accepted fully. If this sounds like we'd be a great fit, then I can't wait to heal with you soon.
